Got to say they look great. It's a nice finishing touch. they do what they are intended for. I just wish the tops were a touch wider for the added security holding the strap

I wanted so much for these to match the hardware on the guitar I was building because they are made very well. The only reason I returned them is because they didn't look the same as the other hardware.

Not what I was expecting. But I used them anyway. Not matching my other guitars parts in color as far as the antique look goes.

My client wanted me to install these onto his very expensive hand made acoustic guitar. The screw that came with these buttons sheared off in the worst possible way. The screw threads diameter is 0.12” so I piloted the hole with a 0.08” bit. I then lubricated the threads with paste wax before installation. The screw was going in just fine, almost no resistance at all. Then at about 80% installed the head just sheared off. The screw was never tight, I was not cranking on it. It sheared because it is made from the worst pot metal you could make a screw from. I now need to extract the screw and plug the hole before i can re-drill for another screw turning this routine job into a massive pain in the butt. This product is trash, I implore anyone interested to look elsewhere or at the very least use different screws.
