This little item is a no-brainer for the organizer. You place the center of the cord in through the top (you don’t open it) and turn. That’s it. The first few turns, you might want to tighten the cord a little, but that is how easy it works. I’m buying more for myself and also for some family members. I also love the soft colors allowing them to hide, but still very pretty.

These are cool - easy to use thanks to the video another reviewer posted. I just have two gripes - they are pretty big. Not something I think I would pack for travel. Second is the packaging is not recyclable and each one comes in its own little plastic box. Not sure I’ll get any more but good for the cords I’m using them on right now!

i ordered these due to the claim of being ‘retractable’, but i couldn’t figure that out. i have a super long cord next to the bed and i wanted something retractable, but this has no such mechanism, or maybe i just wasn’t able to get it to work, but it’s just 3 pieces of plastic so im not so sure how it could function.id recommend a video showing how to use the feature or taking that away as a descriptor.they’re nice colors and could still be good storage, for travel or putting away long cords that arnt needed.

I honestly couldn't figure out how to use these. They came in a box with no instructions and I have not been able to figure out what the correct way is to wind a cord through them. They also don't have a spring or anything in them so they aren't truly retractable although once you had it set up you could rewind them. I'm usually pretty capable but these little plastic guys bested me and just haven't been functional.
