Kept thinking that maybe the next pack will work...no.Only thing these did for the water was turn it blue. Fish died off as if there was no bubble-box running. Normal death rate. They sure tricked me on this. Maybe it was just a bad sleeve of them...

This product really extends the life of my minnows. I put the contents of the Bait Buddies capsule in my bait bucket, the water turns blue in an hour or two, and -voila! -most of the minnows survive a day or two longer than in water untreated by the Bait Buddies. I find this true even when I am using an aerator-- most of the minnows last longer. I notice that the purveyors of minnows use this product, and now I understand why.

WELL! I DON'T KNOW ALL I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THESE BAIT BUDDIES, BUT, I THINK THEY WORK IN TERMS OF GETTING CHLORINE OUT OF THE WATER AND CONDITIONING WATER CONDUCIVE FOR MINNOW SURVIVAL. YEP! THIS IS TRUE. BUT, FOR A PACK OF 12 AT $20.95 THAT'S ABOUT $1.75 A TABLET, HMMMMMM! WHEN I DON'T HAVE THE BAIT BUDDIES, I USE LAKE WATER AND A GOOD AERATOR THAT REALLY AERATES THE WATER AND THE MINNOWS DO JUST FINE. I CHANGE THE WATER FREQUENTLY AND KEEP THE MINNOWS WITH LOTS OF OXYGEN AND THEY'LL LAST FOR DAYS. O'K, MAYBE I'M CHEAP, BUT IT STRIKES ME THAT THE BAIT BUDDIES ARE PRICED TOOOOO HIGH AND I FISH A LOT IN THE SPRING, SOOOOO, THE LAKE WATER AND GOOD AERATOR DO JUST FINE. NOW, THAT'S JUST ME. FISH HARD, LIFE IS SHORT.
