I purchased this in hoping sawapping out my wife's metal plate for this to cut down on the weight. It was not achived the plate is itself was lighter but by the time you put on the rest of the hardware you are pretty much in the same weight. If your looking to save weight buy different wheels instead.I purchased plate for 6.5 women skate bootfront the The first pictures as you can see the holes do not match up. So I end up removing mine which is 7.5 boot and it sorta fit by forcing it, Either that or make another hole in the boot which was not an option for me. It seems to be successful I can tell you though that weight difference isn't much but the maneuverability has IMPROVED a lot. If I had to do it again. I would just by another skate that had the nylon plate.Note for the seller. When I asked what are my options I didn't just expect for you to say file a return. I know I can do that I don't have to ask your permission. What I wanted was a solution or help figure out how to make it work but obviously you company don't care. Good luck

My husband made me vans skates with these, he said it was easy. I think the plates, very good quality!!

Used these to make a pair of skates out of my favorite shoes, came with everything to make a nice set of skates, wish they had the metal plates for inside the boot, I had to improvise for those. Overall works great
