This is a nice surf board sock that will provide a little protection to one of my boards.

First off, let me advise you that if you have a board with a rounded nose (funboard, paddleboard or longboard), this surfboard sock will not fit it in the nose. And while the cotton blend is fairly stretchy, the sock was not made to be very wide…I was able to fit my smaller 6’ board in the sock, dry and with a little bit of wax on it; but it definitely did not slide right in, and that’s because the sock is not super-stretchy, nor is it very wide. If you have a wide surfboard, I would have doubts about this sock’s ability to fit over it.That said, if you have a more narrow short board, or even a longer narrow board with a pointed nose, this sock should work just fine. It’s definitely long enough, there is certainly some excess fabric at the end after putting it over my 6 footer. (I believe this will fit a board up to 7’ in length). The nose has a thicker nylon end-piece, which is great since the nose is the most likely part of the board to get dinged. This should be a good sock for my shorty, it will NOT be a good sock for my funboard.
