This looks like one of those products that could sit in the cupboard for years and never get used.But I use it pretty frequently, and it makes making actually good sushi very easy.

Like the design but the tabs that lock the two halves together broke on the first try. So know it is a definite two hand deal not impressed

Makes perfect rolls, you do have to be careful to not overfill or you won’t be able to close and when you push the plunger make sure you help support the latches by wrapping your hand around the tube. They suggest you oil the inside before using but I found rubbing a little water on the inside works just as well and you don’t get that oily coating on the rice.

What I received didn’t come with any instructions - I’m giving this as a gift & would like them to have a little direction to go along with a basic plunger tool. Are there instructions on line or is this so basic that it should be self-explanatory? I saw some suggestions based on rice sticking etc, so it seems there could be some direction here.
