Good value. I like the adjustability for riders of different weights and trail conditions.

The best seatpost I have ever had. Nice details with the ruler on the stem and a great system for adjusting the seat fore and aft.

Zoom brand suspension post has good Linear force spring range, pre compression works range for good adjustability for rider of my weight... However I returned Gewage ones.. that you can adjust all the way down but spring is just too wimpy for a guy of my 190-200lbs.Not sure what the other reviewer says it's only good for heavy guys? I think he wrote that backwards, it's clearly a weak spring and ONLY light riders 150-160lbs would think the spring is strong enough.

Today I rode for 23 miles and I have to say I do think the post helped take some of the 'ouch' out of the ride. I'm not as tender on my sit bones as I usually am. For the price, I think this is a great value. Can't say if the 200 dollar brands out there work better cuz I have no intention of ever spending that kind of dough on a seat post! I'm satisfied with this post so far.

Installed on my Lectric XP lite and the post on the absorber is just a little smaller in diameter than it needs to be . The clamp will not tighten down on the post to secure it. Tried tightening the bolt on the clamp as far as it will go but just will not quite tighten. Maybe some sort of bushing or material to go around the post first and then tighten might work .

It was hard to find a post that was long enough to accommodate my folding E bike. This one is 400 mm. Just what I needed. The suspension is great for my weight (200 pounds). I did not adjust the tension. EUY would not respond to my request to help me find a longer post with a hinged clip at the top of the post to tilt the seat up for removing my battery. The only ones I could find were 350 mm which is what my bike came with. So now I have to remove the seat every time I pull the battery out. I am 5 foot 10 and the max height of my seat was causing me to have knee problems because I couldn’t extend my legs enough. I see many people on bikes of every kind, and their legs are not getting extended and I am wondering how they are faring. I’ve had the post for about 10 days and already my knees are doing better. All that said, I did have a problem with the length of the screws to attach the seat, as was mentioned in a previous post. There needs to be two sets of bolts, long and short. To get the tilt that I needed I ended up using the one bolt at regular size, and the other one I cut in a vice with a hacksaw to get it short enough so it wasn’t trying to protrude into my seat.

Biking got a little tougher after a neck injury. I started to feel every bump in the road. I have front suspension only on my bike. Then I saw this seat post with suspension. Installed out of the box at the factory setting. Was kind of hoping to experiment with the adjustment to make it a little more springy -- but the manufacturer fails to tell you what happens when you loosen the screw at the bottom. Is the screw "captive" so that it stops turning altogether once you hit the max loose (springiest) setting? Or does the screw unscrew completely from the mechanism and catapult the screw across the room, making you need to put about 100 pounds of pressure on the screw to compact the spring enough to get the screw threaded in order to put it back together? In some of the other spring loaded seatposts, the manufacturer cautions you not to loosen the screw more than a specific number of turns before stopping to ensure it doesn't come out completely. This one doesn't say. It's very possible that it stops at the max setting automatically, then again, maybe not. The ideal design for this type of product would include a captive screw that stops turning automatically before it comes apart completely. I wonder if this is one of them? So tighten it all you want, but watch out when loosening it (unless the manufacturer makes an update to provide this information). Other than that -- it's perfect. One star less over the vital piece of missing information.
