The tool worked very good and almost perfectly and at price point I would buy it again my only complaint is that it did pop out of the strut a couple times with tension on it creating a bit of a hazard.4/5

Tool is functional for strut pinch bolt splitting where corrosion is not a significant factor, I would not apply more than hand force to the threads, both sides of the tool have been functional in my applications, however I can see a possibility of needing to grind the edges off the straight edge spreader.
