Meet SUSTEE
SUSTEE is a modern, Japanese soil moisture sensor. The blue color indicates that there is enough water in the soil, and the while color indicate that plant is in need of watering. SUSTEE features a minimal aesthetic that doesn't take away from the beauty of your plants.
SUSTEE
Color
Has your SUSTEE turned white? That means it is time to water! After watering, the white insert will change to a blue color. This indicates that there is enough water in the soil.
Soil
SUSTEE can be used with almost all plants that grow in soils with a certain level of moisture retention. This includes akadama soil, black earth, bark, coco peat, peat moss and vermiculite.
Insertion Depth
When inserting SUSTEE, please ensure that the Ω mark found on the stick is entirely covered. Please also make sure that the transpiration opening is visible if the stick is needing to go deeper.
Time
The time it takes to change color will depend on the amount of water given and the water retention level. When using SUSTEE for the first time, please water generously. The small stick takes approximately 3 minutes, the medium 15 minutes, and the large 25 minutes.

I have been very pleased with these moisture sensors. I have a bad habit of forgetting to water my plants and having these have definitely solved my problem. I have been very pleased in how long they last and how accurate they seem to be. You can definitely see them turn blue when you add water and I haven't had a plant die since buying them.

These work well but not for large plants - they do work though for small to medium house plants

These refills are a waste of money. They've stayed blue from the day I replaced them. No indication at all if the soil is dry other than droopy plant leaves. Complete waste!!!! Do not purchase!!!!

Thanks to this product, you no longer have to touch the soil to determine if your houseplant needs watering. Your plants will lose fewer leaves. I've purchased this product multiple times.

These refills work as well as the original strip I purchased with the aqua meter. Great for plants that like to maintain moist soil or that prefer the soil to dry out between watering.
