I bought this to keep my car clean from dust from the construction site behind my house, and for when I travel. I did not buy it to protect from snow, I have another stronger cover for that. It's easy to put on, the straps are well made and easy to clip. It is pretty much waterproof, but I would not say 100% if it's really raining moisture will somehow get under it, but it's good enough. I would buy it again.

I'm still trying to figure out how to clip the middle clip which will make it even more wind resistant but I can get the front and the rear clips clicked no problem. The winds in the Central Valley are pretty strong and it held up wonderfully. I have a rear window out in my convertible which is why I needed to purchase this. It comes with a little bag but I don't know how I'll ever get this big cover in that bag. It has a convenient tag in the front that says front and I missed it the first time I put it on. It does look better and fit better if put on in the right direction..

although the cover fit well and worked for about 2 months, it shredded its self on a windy day. I had not noticed any tearing before this but the fabric is destroyed. it ripped in many spots and it is very thin. i do not recommend for outside use.

We had a bad storm come through with hail and high winds. We put thick blankets on the car then covered it with this cover. There was plenty of room without it being too tight, except for the rear which wouldnt have been an issue without the internal stuffing. NO damage to the car or cover and the blankets stayed dry.UPDATE: It has been a year and this car cover still looks like new. We have one for our Honda Civic, CRV and Pilot. We just had storms with 80 mph winds and golf ball size hail and NO damage to the car. The car cover by itself won't prevent this but we buy the large insulator foam boards and cut to size to cover the cars and this cover prevents anything from budging! I highly recommend this. All of our covers are still water proof and show no visible wear. Last photo is on our Honda Pilot with 3 inch foam insulation underneath.We only bought these covers to use to keep foam or blankets in place underneath them. We do not use these covers on a daily basis, only during bad storms so I can not say how they hold up with daily use but if you are wanting protection from wind and rain it holds up fine if used when needed!This cover is on my daughters 2019 Honda Civic. It has 3 sets of velcro straps the go under the car that can be adjusted. One in the front, middle and rear. I'm not sure about the longevity of this car cover because we only use it as needed. But this held up well enough we got two others to cover our suv's.

Fading and actually tearing after only three months of use. Rain penetrating throughout and cover did not fit as good as I though through the Amazon figment advise.

This is lightweight, and looks like 2 layers: nylon exterior, silver interior. It lasted about a year, which is fine – that's the lifetime of any car cover in the California sun. It paid for itself in zero car washes. I ordered another one.The black top very gradually faded to gray, grew brittle, and opened a small rip. Then it opened a 2nd rip, which expanded and ripped the cover in half when I put it back on the car. That's also fine, because it degraded cleanly. My previous, fancy, 5-layer cover with a silver exterior also disintegrated after a year. But the silver layer pulverized into dangerous, inhalable hazardous waste. This cover is much lighter, so it's easier to handle, and it doesn't create health hazards.Amazon's "Garage" algorithm kept screaming that the "Hatchback" size wouldn't fit my '90s Honda hatchback, and told me to order a (presumably larger) "Sedan" size instead. I went with "Hatchback" anyway, and it fits the car's shape fine. There's a bit of extra length drooping around the back elastic hem, but the cover has 3 quick-release snaps to tie it down in high wind.
