For the cost, this is a great tool to get your camera's backfocus adjusted. I only knock it down a star as it can be a little hard to get it to really lock up good, but on the same token, when you DO get it tightened, it can be hard to loosen up again as you don't have much for your fingers to grip onto below the adjustment ring (the female side). I think in the future, I'll likely use some blue threadlocker on it so I don't have to worry about it coming loose without needing to overtighten it.

I was a satisfied customer of SVBONY products, and this adapter is not a bad product. But I received the wrong adapter in the right box. I ordered a 48mm and got a 42.Then for some wacky reason I thought I would tell SVBONY that item in the box did not match the label on the box and that on Amazon, the 42 and 48mm adapters have the same model number but separate listings and different product descriptions, and that if you search for either one both products are returned. I thought this was unnecessarily confusing. I had ordered the 48mm and received a box for the 48mm, but the adapter in the box was a 42mm.The reply seemed to suggest that if I had ordered a 48 I would have received a 48...and if I reordered, I would get what I ordered. I thought that was a bit odd in response to the suggestion that the product descriptions could be made clearer. Perhaps having bridge English and Chinese was part of the problem. Perhaps I shouldn't have bothered at all and just returned it. :Then to put this in perspective I ordered, directly from the US manufacturer a different adapter. It came on time, but it was the wrong size. I called and a nice CSR, said let me be sure I understand which size and style and I will send out a replacement and a prepaid label for the return. It arrived promptly and it was a different wrong size. I called them up and a different but still polite and friendly person, said, let me pull one from stock, check the size with calipers and send it by overnight express. Send the other two back when you can. Third time lucky.So I will give SVBONY a pass on this one.

I got this to set the distance to sensor from a coma corrector(gso) to my dslr(pentax K5) Works great, tight. no slop or sag and the ring locks well. Threads are correct pitch as well.I'd like to see this in a shorter version as well.
