This does appear to be a quality item, however it is impressively heavy and i don't want heavy sitting on my nose piece or focusser. That kind of weight, welcome in other parts such as tripods, for rigidity, is certainly not welcome on the nosepiece of a telescope. I am also confused about the numerical markings. See photo. I don't want to have to mentally subtract or add 1 to figure out which actual filter is in position. I asked seller to explain. Will wait to see the answer. Otherwise its a quality item. Some others complained about it being stiff and it is a little stiff but I would expect it to loosen up with use.

This SVBONY manual filter wheel feels well made and solid. Filters fit as expected and the wheel turn easily but stays locked in place. No noticeable extra vignetting on my APS-C sensor compared to my previous method for attaching filters. After figuring out spacers, this wheel fitter well with my ZWO2600mc and Askar V.The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because of this statement: "perfectly suitable for astrophotography"While it can be made to work with some tweaks, there are two major problems if using for astrophotography. First, there is no light protection in the area used to turn the wheel, so there is a lot of light leaks. Solvable by gathering something that can be put on top of it to block the light. Second problem is the width. My sample seems to have a width of 22.69. This makes is tricky (but not impossible) to achieve a good back-focus distance for the telescope. I was hoping that since it said that it was "perfect" for astrophotography, then that meant it was a 20mm diameter. Well, now I know why they don't publish the schematics of the filter wheel. I had to figure out a good combination of spacers in order to not get elongated stars on the corners. So it is well made (IMO), BUT since out of the box experience for astrophotography is not "perfect" as advertise, I'm giving it 3 starts. 5 start if you are doing visual astronomy.I am keeping it since I have managed to get it working well

My wheel would not turn in the filter wheel as well. This is due to the ring being screwed on backwards and causing the filter wheel to jam. Simply grab a glove and grab the part that's causing the jam and unscrew it and flip it. Problem solved.

The filter wheel of this item was frozen and would not turn at all, the outer body was in good condition as was the shipping box and material. I suspect that the wheel bushing was damaged or missing—obviously, a quality control issue with the manufacturer; I have two cameras from this company that work fine so it's probably a 'on off' problem. I returned the item for a refund with no problems, Amazon is exceptionally good for this type of problem.

Ideal para cambiar filtros durante visualización. No lo recomiendo para fotografía ya que el manipular el carrusel mueve el telescopio.

This is a great filter wheel but it was almost impossible to turn with your finger, why? Because my unit came with one side with an attachment that go's into the camera screwed into the housing to much and as the wheel tried to turn it was stopping it from doing so. On a YOU TUBE video I saw a brand new item just like mine, taken out of the box but I noticed the attachment had a black metal spacer between the housing and the adapter. I reassembled mine and now the filter wheel turns easy with my finger. Other than that issue that is now a non-issue, the item is well built and I cant wait to use it as soon as I get a clear night.

I had thought you could add/remove a filter through the opening, but there's really no room. Need to pull off all the screws and take it apart. Not the end of the world for most, but I like having the filters accessible if needed. Other that that, it's well made and solid, though was also difficult to turn.

I like it, sturdy construction. Too bad you need to remove 4 screws to change the filters. Also it seems to me that the order numbers when you load the filters. off by one but it could be me not knowing yet how to set it up.

Excelente, el único detalle que le encontré es que es un poco duro al rotar los filtros lo que puede producir que se rote la cámara y con eso el campo de visión del objeto y luego es difícil encuadrar las diferentes tomas

Nice high quality build for my imaging filters. Sturdy metal build attaches to my dslr and Barlow. You won’t be disappointed with the quality of this filter wheel, especially at this price point.

This filter wheel is great! First off its all metal (no plastic parts)! I can screw it right on to my T ring on my DSLR and it inserts into my telescope. The wheel comes with 2 caps for the front and back and can hold 5 filters . It also makes a nice solid "click" when it is rotated to the next filter. I added the arrows to help me at night to see which way I should turn it.
