Big improvement over the old Klipsch R100-SW which has a 10-inch speaker in a bigger, ported enclosure. This SVS sub just sounds better, you can hear more detail in the bass, and I actually set the low pass filter to 100 Hz (vs 60 to 80 on the old Klipsch) because I was pleased with the accuracy.Of course the phone app that allows you to remotely control the sub and fine tune the settings to your liking is icing on the cake. I've been playing around with it for a couple of weeks now and I think I've hit the sweet spot.I don't watch TV much but I do listen to several hours of music every day, including tons of roots reggae so trust me when I say this delivers enough low-end bass for your musical fix. Right now I have it partnered with a pair of Klipsch RP 600M-II bookshelf speakers and a Yamaha RX V385 receiver and it's been bliss.I had been considering the bigger, pricier SB-2000 Pro, but my research led me to believe that it would be overkill for a music lover in a smallish townhouse, and when I saw the SVS SB-1000 Pro on sale for under $500, it was a no-brainer.

This sub sounds fantastic, and it's simple to set up to sound seamless. With the SVS app, tuning this sub can be performed while sitting on your couch. I have the SVS running in a 2.1 setup with a Yamaha R-N1000A along with my vintage ADS L810 speakers. I was able to fine-tune this subwoofer perfectly to blend in with my ADS speakers It's also small in stature, which is great!

Absolutely pleased with the SVS SB-1000 pro. With the the DSP built into the sub the Base is blended evenly into the music -can't tell where the base is coming from. I recommend purchasing the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System if the Sub is being placed on Hardwood or laminate flooring. Stops vibration into the floor joists and windows . Happy wife happy life. The SVS app is also a nice feature for tuning and dialing the system into your listening position. No regrets and not going back to the Polk , Klipsch options. The others don't compare to this.

Bueno en general, hay aplicacion para el movil y hacer ajustes de sonido. Potente, buen sonido. Tengo otro subwoofer yamaha de 100w y en comparacion es mas potente, pero no mucho mas bueno en cambio hay mucha diferencia de precio. Para una habitacion de hasta 40 metros cuadrados el yamaha va bien por 200euros si necesitas mas, este es mas potente

I like the control of several parameters via software app. This gives a lot of control at your fingertips. I downloaded RAW software and bought its recommended calibrated microphone. Now I am experimenting to optimize the sound.Being a sealed subwoofer, the output is short tailed and controlled. The power is sufficient. Not fancy as the KEF's but very competitively priced.

The SVS SB-1000 Pro has completely transformed my home theater setup. It’s amazing how much power and clarity this subwoofer packs into such a compact design. Auro3D使用で４本購入部屋が20畳以上有るので~4本あっても役不足でした❗️調整で何とかなってますが！SVSウーハー自体はよく出来ていて~リスニングポイントで i pad 使用して全ての操作が出来るので~素早い調整が可能です❗️10畳ぐらいでサラウンドだと４本…2ch使用だと２本使用だといいと思います！為替の影響で国産より安く買えれば~選択の余地は充分あります‼️納期はひと月から2か月弱かかりました。

Been using inexpensive subwoofers for years and always wondered what better ones sound like. Finally spent 3x cost of previous Klipsch 10” 150 watt unit. And wow it’s worth it! Klipsch unit was great value but I realize it was all boom with no punch or accuracy. SVS SB-1000 makes kick from bass drum sound like a rock concert and movie sound effects are as impressive. The app is really helpful too because you can listen to music or movie while adjusting settings. Gives instant feedback on what settings sound best. I couldn’t be happier with this subwoofer, which is exactly what most reviews say so no surprise there. I had also wondered if I should replace my front towers speakers or receiver instead, thinking maybe they were a bigger issue. They definitely were not, my system lacked true power and clarity at low end and the problem was the subwoofer. I don’t even want to use my inexpensive Klipsch subwoofer as a second unit because it will dilute the SVS unit! That’s how great it sounds.

I finally dropped the bomb on a sub replacement and there are no more words to say how great this sub sounds. I really wanted a sub that would work well with my tower speakers for 2 ch music as well as home theatre. My speaker respond down to 30Hz and my current sub would only go down to 32Hz. This being SVS's entry level 12" sub, it is far beyond any competition in price that hits as low as 20Hz, tight and as fast as it does. This sub immerses into your system seamlessly without drowning the room with bass. (Yes you can have bass overkill if that's you thing) The wireless app feature is easy to use and simply the ultimate for fine tuning from your favourite seat. You can save 3 pre set settings for music, theatre and custom. Using these settings in dramatic fashion will allow you to feel & hear the incredible audio from such a compact unit......Simply can't be beat.

For my small TV room I had purchased Klipsch R-30C center speaker as well as Klipsch R-51M left-right speakers, but wanted to get the entire 20 to 20,000 Hz sound spectrum. My left-right speakers go down to 62 Hz, so I obviously needed a sub to complete the system. The SVS SB-1000 Pro filled this need completely.In addition, after I ran the optimizer for my receiver, no signal went to the subwoofer. I called SVS tech support, and the tech patiently ran me through the settings for my receiver. I turned out that the optimizer identified the R-51M speakers as Large, which was the reason no signal went to the sub. He had me change them to Small, and I got my signal back to the sub. This was going the extra mile to help me debug the optimizer settings of a receiver from another company entirely, to get everything working.Lastly, the SB1000 Pro is engineered so that you can't tell that the low frequencies are coming from the left corner of the room, but rather, from the listening position, it sounds like all of the bass is split between the two left-right speakers.Just an overall excellent product, with great bass and some of the best tech support I have ever experienced.

Super nice clean bass, I use it for mainly music in my home office. Know it’s limitations and keep your expectations in check. To me, this not a great HT sub. I like massive drivers, ported boxes, and plenty of peak power for HT (I have Rythmik FV15HP for that if you think that bolsters my opinion. However, I do watch the occasional movie in my office and it’s quite adequate in this 2.1 setup. Love the SVS control app, it’s class leading. This sealed design is small, fits my room, and adds just the right amount of tasteful low-end needed to compliment my bookshelf speakers (especially for TV/Movie watching). Prices seem to keep going up and I understand the global situation, can’t blame SVS for that. It was definitely worth the price I paid a few months ago. The look/size, appropriate output, and higher-line tech trickled down to it included
