It's basically the same as the one and only speed square but is also great for use with siding and other delicate materials, since it won't mar soft finishes. Plus, its 8-Inch size means it's ideal for marking cuts in 8-Inch siding. Look for the diamond

Works well. Got stupid with my last one and tried to use it as a guide for a small circular-saw/ angle-grinder, which melted it. User error. So, don't do that.

Nice little square. I like that it is light and hi-vis, so you can find it quickly if you drop it in grass while making your cuts. So useful, especially if you look up some quick tricks for speed squares. A versatile tool that is a must-have when doing woodworking projects.

This square has been perfect for me. It’s a great quality for the price and I love the bright orange color so I don’t lose it in the middle of my project. It’s durable and it squares up my projects perfectly! It’s also lightweight to reduce your belt weight.I definitely recommend this to anyone needing a square in a budget!

Might be plastic, but cheapeat i could find that wasnt around $100. I mainly work with a 16" mechanical seam panel and comes very handy for saving time in squaring off a panel for a cut as most squares are 7" and you either have to eyeball 2", or extend the line with the flat part. With this square, you get the job done faster and fits in the same square pocket in your tool pouches. Made out of plastic, but i aint misusing the dam tool. I still have to eyeball about a 1/4" because it doesnt fully reach 8", due to the edge curvature it gets 7-7/8" mark. Might purchase a good one after this breaks, but atleast i know it fits the tool pouches almost the same. Sticks up just a little higher, but doesnt bother, for what it does. Super lightweight too. I write my measurements on the flat part and they erase easily with thumb

My last speed square was lost. Gotta have this tool to mark and cut wood for projects. This was inexpensive and is easy to use. I am not a professional, but this works great for me. I didn't need something more expensive made of metal material.

Bright color makes it easy to find. Bought two 8" and two 12" sizes at these great prices.I cut a lot of stone, so it is handy to have multiple squares to speed the job. Lighter than steel and easier to find.Super tools at a super price.

Purchased this for just a quick job to square up my 3d printers and it’s obviously super easy to use. Everything is straight and square. Can be used to do multiple things but as stated I only used it for one thing. Made with great quality, seems super durable and can last long on any job site. Super light and not overly bulky and can fit in carpenter bag. Highly recommend for small projects around the house and can only assume it will work and last on any job site for years to come, obviously haven’t tested that claim. Great value for your money and definitely recommend

I bought this as I wanted to cut a number of angled pieces of wood and had no easy way to do it. The tool is made out of a form of reinforced plastic, it appears quite strong and the numbers are engraved into the frame. I did consider bying a metal one but the price was too high for the amount of use I would be putting the tool to - I'm only a DIYer!!Would recomment it to others.
