We bought a house where the Polaris stained all the windows after years of the tail spraying water everywhere.Once this was installed, the tail stays in the water or barely skims the top. There is little to no water that exits the pool now. Such a simple fix

I usually use these in the cooler months so I don't have to get my hands in the cold water to change the foam ones. I have left them in year round and they work perfectly.

Wow, what a good job it did after 3 years of service. But when closing pool today I found that the Blue working insert of the unit was missing. Not really understandable how the flexible blue insert left the unit and is gone, BUT it has worked so well that I will certainly get another Pro by next season. Cheers

My third SWASHER, and all have been great! Much better than the foam tail cover on the Polaris. This is durable, never comes up out of the water, and does the job it is supposed to do. My first two lasted a long time, only requiring replacement when someone stepped on it. I had a slight problem with this most recent purchase, and the seller immediately contacted me and provided the solution. Great product and great customer service. I recommend the SWASHER for your Polaris.

This product was functional at first, but disintegrated within the first year. Because it requires you to modify the end of the tail of the Polaris, you need to either buy another one of these, or buy new Polaris tail to use the foam end. It does do a great job of diminishing the spray from the tail

I was tired of the foam tail scrubbers wearing out or falling off, and we were all tired of getting sprayed when it came out of the water. I had thought about trying this but was concerned it may be a pain to install. It wasn’t bad at all, and I didn’t even have to cut any hose. It took maybe 10 minutes and works great. The tail never comes out of the water anymore! Love it!

The Swasher is such an amazing, creative solution to a long-standing problem with Polaris sweeps! With the standard sweep hose, adding enough water pressure to assure an effective sweep would also assure that the sweep nozzle would break the water surface and spray my windows. That's not an issue with the Swasher as the spray nozzle always remains below the surface. It's a very effective sweep, moving freely from side to side as it should. I bought it at the end of May and wanted to wait until the end of the swim season before reviewing (it's now the end of October) to see how well it holds up: It still looks new. I can't recommend the Swasher highly enough. Great product!

We bought one of these because our Polaris was spraying all over our very large plate glass windows. Our pool is only 5 1/2 feet deep so we were struggling with the tail constantly spraying all over our house. We added this to the end of the Tail and it did not work at first. However, like the other reviewer‘s, we were able to get it to work. We actually asked our pool company if they would take care of it. They very quickly added it and adjusted the pressure on the Polaris, and it worked fine. It has not sprayed our windows once since that happened. You can see how close the windows are to our pool. This thing really works!

This product meets expectations however, despite claims to the contrary, it does wear out over a few years in a pool with a rough surface such as pebblecrete. Nevertheless, it's still better than the original foam and probably better than most similar alternative products for your Polaris pool cleaner. I'll buy another when this one is finally worn out.
