I change out the felt protection on my record cleaning machine often, because of how many records I clean. Good product.

I needed to replace The sweeper felt for my disc doctor. Unfortunately, the adhesive was so adherent to the backing that pulling it off pretty much stretched it out of shape. I'm not sure how these are being stored.

The adhesive on the original sweepers on my Record Doctor was letting go and the felt was partially blocking the port. It seemed like the cleaning fluid was softening the adhesive, as I could slowly slide it back and it would stay for a while once it thoroughly dried. These replacements have been staying put, even though some long cleaning sessions.

I love my Record Doctor 5 but you've got to change those sweeper strips regularly for it to a god job. And if if you let the wear too thin you'll run the risk of scratching your LP. I don't really keep count of how many cleanings I get our of a set of these strips but you visually inspect them and can easily tell when it is time to replace.
