My daughter was excited about these, they are comfy for lounging around in. They are not particularly thick even though they are described as fleece, they are more of a pyjama material. The fit is good and the elastic waist is good too. I hope the picture of the material is useful as that was missing from the listing.

My 9 y/o daughter is very sensitive to fabrics that are not soft or feel scratchy. She would rather be cold and wear shorts than pants. She loves these pants! The material is similar to a lounge pant material; very soft and flowy, but not baggy. The waist band is elastic. The drawstring is decorative and does not function as a drawstring, which I do not mind. These pants do not have elastic at the ankle, which was also a plus. I will be purchasing different colors from this brand if available.

I cannot stand pants/ shorts that have fake draw strings, if I'm buying pants with a draw string on it, it is because I need to adjust the waist. Other wise these are nice light weight comfort pants. The colors match and true to size.
