Our unique blade design provides you with two separate cutting edges. The first set of edges, also known as the wing blades, are used for cutting the hide and the first set of ribs. These blades are also used to open the Brodhead, and are much smaller than the main blades. They take the most punishment by cutting through the hair, dirt, hide, and bones during entry. The smaller blades take less energy to penetrate through the first side than an open on impact Brodhead. These wing blades also provide a load bearing surface for the ferrule during impact. The second set of edges, or the main blades do not touch anything during the initial penetration. They still have virgin edges when they open in the body cavity. This allows the main blades to remain razor sharp for the internal organs.

Absolutely the best mechanical broadhead ever, massive blood trail, with deadly accuracy, my wild boar only went 8 yds using these broadheads and Excalibur Rev x crossbow, highly recommend!

Got my big doe with this. Worked like it should. Went through 2 ribs on the exit and left a 2 in + hole. Slight bend on one blade. 4 stars because they advertised a practice head that didn't come with one.

Passed through a buck from the shoulder out through the thigh and hind quarter. Deployed as intended and cut through lungs, heart, liver, stomach, and pelvis, tearing through all sorts of bones along the way. The broadhead itself was perfectly fine, the blades were a little bent and need to be replaced. But I had a perfect entrance wound of 1 inch and an exit wound of more than 2 1/2 inches, so it deployed as expected. The buck died within 20 yards.

I used these on 2 bucks and they both expired very quickly.

The three broadheads came in a plastic container but there was no practice head included. If I had my choice between the container or the practice head I'd want the practice head. I'm wondering if it's new packaging from Swhacker or something else.

I’ve used these to kill five deer now (all pass thru shots) and they are great. I have a 375fps crossbow and have been using mechanical Broadheads for over 15 years. These are very nice. I was hesitant at first w/ only 2 blades, but the cut is SO wide it does the job. I added an extra rubber band b/c of the speed of my bow and it flies straight as…well, an arrow. I’m very happy and have switched to these for good. The other thing I like is the broad head opens after it gets thru the hide, so all of the energy transfers to the vitals. They also shoot very accurate. Highly recommend them.

I have been using Swhackers for 10 years, never had a deer live more than 10 seconds with a double lung shot which is what I always go for. Dropped a big 5 point last Sat. He did not go more than 20 yards

This is the first year I’ve used Swhacker broadheads with my crossbow. I switched from Spitfires because they changed the design and they were opening mid flight making them very inaccurate. Last week, I shot a 135”, 215lbs Midwest 10pt with the Swhacker at 23 yards. The deer was slightly quartered toward me and I shot the buck behind the shoulder and a touch high (not a great shot). The bolt passed through and the blood trail was good. The deer traveled 150 yards and was recovered pretty easily considering a liver/single lung shot. Exit hole was good sized. Overall, I felt the broadhead performed well and I will be using them again next year. The included practice tip shoots like the broad heads and pulls out of my Block target easily.UPDATE: Since writing my original post I have shot 3 more large Midwest whitetails with these (145”, 160”, and a 163”). All quick kills and great blood trails. My son shot a 140” buck this year with a Swhacker as well. We haven’t lost a deer since using these. They never go far, even with not so perfect shots. These have an incredibly simple design and are very effective.
