Wanted to like these for the heel lock grip but ended up getting a hole in the sock in my first run in them. Price is a bit steep to have issues like this.

I have tried all kinds of socks for Ultra trail running, but these are my new fave. No bulky seam at toes, great moisture wicking, and they have great features to keep your foot in place and prevent blisters . They don’t bunch up, and seem to repel odor. I have put some serious miles on this first pair and they are holding up well. I will be buying more!

Swiftwick is the sock of choice. Run, ride, hike, climb, bike----pushing the body- I never think about my feet, Everything else might hurt, never my feet....since you always need them to get you back home, I cradle them in Swiftwick. Flite Trail, And the Pursuit.... 4" and 7", and I use the 12" Pursuit for recovery and travel. The mild compression reduces fatigue and stops fluid build up. Highly recommend especially for air travel and long car rides.

I really like the Swiftwick socks. They provide comfort and support during my 10 + hours of active standing work. They are durable and well made. But the price is high. I thought perhaps I was getting a package of more than one pair, but nope. Still, they might be worth that price to someone who can afford them.

My son always bought these at shoe store, but they don’t sell them anymore and these are his favorite socks. They are not warm winter socks really nice socks because they don’t retain foot odor and they stay dry.

I have tried many, many socks over many, many miles and these are without any doubt the best ones I have worn. Having tried Bombas, Farm to Feet, Balega, Smartwool, DarnTough, and a few others along the way I highly recommend the Flite XT Trail 5 from Swiftwick (shoutout to Smartwool for 2nd place though). These socks are ostensibly designed for hiking, however I find them to work excellent for running, especially with their moisture wicking properties. I have used them for everything from a 5K to a 50K and been very happy. The 5 in. crew size is great for grabbing moisture and sweat before it drips down your legs and soaks your shoes. Nobody likes sodden, heavy, squelchy shoes. This has always been an issue for me in all but the coldest weather, so I never wear anything shorter than a crew for any serious running (located in NC, humidity capital of America). If money was no object I don't think I'd ever wear any other socks.I first heard about these because I saw my running guru, Tommy Rivers Puzey, wearing them. Team Rivs knows running. If you have never tried Swiftwick, or never heard of Tommy Rivers Puzey I urge you to check them both out. It might just change your life. Tommy, if you are by some small chance reading this review, thank you! I'm not a sappy dude, but you inspire me almost as much as you educate me. Word.

fit great and seems good quality but hole appeared surprisingly after a few months wear, including hiking. Will check with manufacturer but didn't have the same problem with Wigwam or Bombas. Been trying them all for good socks.Received free replacement and had excellent discussion with customer service. Also, received discount on future purchase.
