Update: now that I've worn it a few times, I have to say that I can only wear this for 3-4 hours max before it starts hurting my neck, due to the racerback style. Still love it otherwise, and am glad I kept it. I've worn it in both river and pool water, and it washes and dries wonderfully (I hang dry it.)I have tried since beginning of spring to find a new tankini top. I have lost count of how many times I ordered tops in other brands, tried them on and immediately repackaged and sent them back for a refund. This one isn't perfect, but it checks enough of the boxes that I am keeping it. For starters, I am very heavy on top (H) so it's hard to find something that covers and supports. This tankini has built-in cups that are just the right size and in just the right place, and the elastic band that goes underneath goes all the way around the back too, and seems like it will offer good support for the girls. I like the higher neckline so I don't feel like I'm showing a mile of cleavage. One thing I don't like is the racerback style of the back. Any time i wear this style, I always feel like the girls are putting too much weight on my neck, even though everything is where it is supposed to be and it doesnt LOOK like its hanging on my neck in the back. It's just uncomfortable, and I much prefer having regular straps. So I will probably just wear this for shorter trips of a couple hours or less. I do like that this top is longer than most, so I can move around some without showing my stomach. It is not form fitting around the stomach, so it is more flattering, but this means it will probably ride up in the water. But we can't have everything perfect. So to sum up, this thing covers and supports in all the right places. It may be a little uncomfortable for day-long adventures, but it checks all the other boxes so I am keeping it. And it's cute!

This is the only tankini top I've found that doesn't ride up or float up when I'm swimming laps at the pool. Even though it's not tight fitting, it stays down while I swim. In the past I've had to wear tight tank tops underneath my tankini tops because they float up exposing my belly. This top does not do that. I will definitely purchase again. Chlorine is hard on material, but this top seems to be holding up fairly well.
