As another reviewer stated, these don’t only have to be used for swings! I used this to create a frame for my hoist, and it worked fantastically well. These are sturdy and well coated, and were perfect for this job. These feel very high quality, and if I had to guess, will probably outlast the wood they’re attached to.

I'm going to have some left over lumber from my gazebo extension, so I decided I would build a swing set for the grandkids. When I saw these brackets, I jumped at the opportunity to order them as the price locally is more expensive and upon arrival I am so thankful! These are bombproof! The 4x6 beams would fail long before these brackets showed even the slightest strain, they are that heavy duty.

Heavy duty and heavy weight. Worth it for ease of assembly and secure joints. Couldn’t be more simple to build an A frame than with these brackets.Powder coated. Tough. Weather resistant.

These brackets are very well made, and the paint coating is uniform all around to keep them from corroding. It comes with the screws needed to attach the lumber (those are solid too). Overall, this is one of the simplest and most secure ways to make a swing and for a good price too.No cutting required: You'll need 4: 4x4's (6-8ft works $40) and 1: 4x6 (Wouldn't exceed 12ft but you do you $25). Be sure to support the 4x4's or anchor them to the ground so they don't splay outward at the base and then setup the swing hooks ($25), chain ($25), and the swing ($?) and you're done. (Depending on your local pricing or what you can find it can be about $120 for the extra parts (not including the swing/s you choose to go with).NOTE: You'll likely want to have a pilot hole drilled for the included bolts as they are thick and can split the wood and/or just be a pain to screw in.

... but instead into a hoist. I always need help lifting things due to a broken back once. So I will use these braces to build frame similar to a swing, but with some wheels and a winch instead of the swing. This contraption can then be easily moved over a heavy object to lift it up with the winch.

They really mean it when they say heavy duty, the box was so heavy. This is very well made with excellent welds, and comes with all the hardware. We plan on building our daughter a swing set, so much cheaper then buying a pre-made kit and it will be sturdier then the pre-made one because those come with cheap wood and hardware.

Heavy Duty , Welded Seems, Well painted inside and out though somewhere along the way the paint got pin head size chipped around exposed corners in a couple spots. Shiny metal showing so couple paint shots fixes that easily..13mm Hex Head Heavy duty lag screws included.3mm or 4mm (builders choice ;) pilot hole drill bit (not included) make this bracket set a easy multiple use project to assemble.
