The doors are made of pressboard. A very cheap pressboard. The entire side of the door cracked installing the top hinge in the predrilled hole. The pressboard is light and cheap ands the veneer covering is already peeling off and I have not even installed them. I purchased the doors when I was buying the material for my renovation. By the time I unpacked them to install and I realized the product is very inferior and of poor quality, the return window closed. I sent a note to the manufacturer explaining the situation and got no response. I purchase a lot of items from Amazon. By far, this is the worst quality product I ever received. I return window closed because my project ran late. I has hoping the manufacturer would understand the situation and accept a return and refund the $379.00. I will buy a better quality set of doors from them, had the manufacturer responded to me. Amazon should not allow inferior products to be sold on the site. The fact that the manufacturer could not even bother to respond to my complaints tells me they are not a reputable company. I would advise anyone looking at doors from this company to be very careful. The product is very inferior and they do not stand behind their products.

Used these swinging doors to separate walk-in closet from bathroom. Allows the air to circulate but provides a barrier between the two areas. My contractor was very impressed. BUT you must paint them! They are primed only.

Was looking forward to receiving this swing door. Can be used without painting but a little disappointing that it is poorly made or maybe just my expectations were a little too high. Details are important but I guess for the price, it is usable and works for its purpose.

I'm a door installer and a customer wanted these type of doors to separate her laundry room from the kitchen. I think it's been about 25 years since someone asked me to install some cafe doors. Doors are solid MDF and are primed well. These are not painted, they need to be painted. If you make sure doors are level and plumb, they work great.

Used these doors to provide a bit of privacy in toilet area. They are perfect. Arrived well protected and in excellent condition; primed and ready to paint.

The door is great. The directions, not so much! Fairly easy to install once you figured out the directions and the hardware. It came with 5 different screws (5 of each)- and no where on the single sheet directions did it say which screws goes where. But that said, it took me about 2 hours to install the doors by myself, and I am a 70+ year old women.

These doors were exactly what I needed for my bathroom. Even though my opening was only 35+3/4", there was still enough gap between the doors, so they did not need trimming. I am glad that I hung the doors first to see how they fit. It is difficult to hang the doors exactly right the first time, so plan on drilling new holes and moving brackets on at least one side in order to get everything aligned perfectly. You also might also need to adjust the height. I ended up putting the bottom brackets 23" from the floor. I am 6'2", so 23" might be on the high side for most people. Some web sites I checked recommend 20". The included screws will work on a wood frame, but you will need your own screws if you are going through drywall. I had to go through drywall, so I used 1+1/2" #10 screws on the bottom brackets and 1+1/2" #6 screws on the top brackets. The grooves that are cut in the doors to create the look of panels may require some sanding. The grooves are 1", so a 1" wide sanding block works pretty well. The primer on the doors is decent, but it is kind of gray, so even though you might be able to get by with one coat of paint, you should probably plan on 2 coats. I used a white semi gloss.

They look beautiful!! We hung these doors in our mudroom and they fit great. They were super easy to install. There was no measuring because the holes were already there for the hardware. They are solid and they came primed so they painted nicely.
