This device has made bringing the switch with us so much more convenient. Now we don't have to disconnect the dock from our home set up and bring that large device with us. All we need is this compact device, and we can play our switch on the hotel TV. The image and sound quality is great. It was very easy to get set up and start using, basically you just plug it in and you're done.

I bought this cable to use my switch without the dock on a monitor. For that purpose it worked flawlessly. However I found it also worked amazingly with my steam deck and ipad. The cable itself doesnt charge and needs additional usb c charger to work properly. I recommend using a 30w power brick

Lots of reviews saying you have to use the original Switch power source, but I really wanted to be able to use the Anker 6-port 112w fast charger that I travel with, which has 30w and 20w ports, and the long USB- C cord I travel with.Plus my Switch power block is buried in my electronics setup for my TV.My 6 port has 30w and 20w USB-C ports, and 12w and 18w USB-A ports. The switch prompts to use the original adapter when I plug into the 20 and 30w ports, but it works fine with the 12w and 18w ports, which I have to use a USB-A to USB-C adapter for.I’m glad it works but this took me some time to figure out and a better design, if possible, would be for this thing to limit the wattage passing through to the Switch so we can use adapters like those that come with iPads, MacBooks, etc.

Used this to connect to the rear screens of my 2021 gmc Yukon Denali. Should work for all GM products with rear entertainment of these years/body style
