This sword wall mount is made of heavy gauge painted aluminum plate, it's a really basic design that just works. The wall mount comes with enough standoffs so that you can adjust the size (depth wise) for your specific items, you don't have to use it only for swords.I haven't tried it yet, but I believe that this wall mount would also work well for at least one axe, or similar item, in addition to the swords. Also the fact that it comes with drywall anchors means that you really only need to have a #2 Phillips screwdriver (to mount it in the wall), which most people already have. It comes with a small Phillips screwdriver for assembly.When assembling this, remember not to crank down on the standoffs when you are assembling the sword mount, the standoffs are steel, and you will strip the aluminum threads from the mounts. That would be bad. This is very easy to assemble!Final note, this was a bargain! I'm very pleased with this wall mount it looks great how it is.
