this shaft is larger diamet than spec if you are planning on fitting 5mm bore pullies or bearings on it - it wont workotherwise it’s….. good. it’s an aluminium rod

While advertised as .100" diameter, these are really 1/8" (.125).Probably a fine product, but not for my purposes.

I bought 2 packs of these for a total of 4 rods. These were intended for launch rods for small rockets. They would have served that purpose, though experiments showed that the stiffness of carbon fiber was better for my application.One star is knocked off for relatively poor straightness and dimensional accuracy... They weren't severely bent or anything, but some were bowed about 1/8". And, they were very slightly larger than 5mm, which caused them to not fit in a 5mm fitting. (The rods are very slightly more, and the fitting was very slightly less... I've criticized both products equally for this)
