The Sylvania DOT-it Black Self-Adhesive Bright White LED Light can stick and re-stick practically anywhere. DOT-it lights are small enough to fit in your pocket and can stick to a variety of surfaces, including fabric, leather, plastic, glass and fiberglass. Use them anywhere you need light: in your car, in your home, where you play, where you work or with your kids. Just a press in the center turns a DOT-it light on and off. Peel off the adhesive backing and stick it wherever you need light. Leave on the adhesive backing to carry it like a flashlight. They feature a wireless, portable design you can use at home or on the go. Lights include three replaceable AAA batteries that provide power for about 100 hours of bright, white LED light. The LEDs inside DOT-it lights will last for years. Three replaceable AAA batteries are included.

While this is a nice, useful, emergency light, It produces a moderate amount of light. However, it has one major flaw. I guess the designers didn't expect anyone to change the batteries, because this is accomplished by removing the back of the light by removing the screws that hold it in place. Easy, right? Sure, AS LONG AS YOU DON'T USE THE SELF STICK FEATURE! Once you stick the light to a surface, you can't remove the back plate without removing it from the wall, destroying the self-stick pad. Other than this, it's not a bad product.

I love these guys, so simple to use and bright: press down to turn "on", press down again for "off". Easy, anyone can do it--hey you can use your nose, your elbow, your head, your chin, your cat's and dog's paw, your knee, etc.,--how convenient is that. Great for kids and people with joint pain.   I keep one in the car and several scattered around the house. Batttery life if good for the many times I've used them. Because of the easy push on feature, you should have these lights displayed where you can see them otherwise you can accidentially turn them on. (My learn as you go experience: I accidentally left one of these lights under a seat cushion and the light came on after someone sat on the chair, being that it was dark and we were watching Aliens, well everyone around was a little perturbed by the glowing seat cushion.) Just remember a certain amount of pressure could turn them on.

OK for a little light in a broom cupboard or cabinet. Just don't forget to put it off afterwards!

I've used this for several months now and it works very well. It's bright and convenient and the battery lasts a long time.

I stuck one in each of my bedroom closets and they really work well, better than those "tap lights" that were so popular a while back. With winter coming and those dark mornings ahead I will need the help to see my clothes in there. The price is right too. I bought a few in different colors and am trying to think of ways to use the rest of them. They are super bright!

The DOT-it did not stick under my kitchen cabinet, nor on the wall of my closet. The light was a blue tint and "cold". I had ordered 3. I returned 2 un-opened packages.

I love these lights. They produce a very bright light ina little clear domed disk. These are much better thanthe old dome shaped battery lights of a few years ago.I have one of each color in various locations around the house. They are handy as emergency lights too.

Our neighborhood suffers short, frequent power outages and we never seem to have a flashlight in the right place at the right time. I bought several of these to stick underneath cabinets in a couple of places so we will *always* know where we have temporary lighting the next time the power goes out (and, yes, I know that I could also do a better job of keeping track of our flashlights but it seems to me that all flashlights that enter our home are pre-destined to disappear within 10 days, along with scissors, scotch tape, postage stamps, one glove from each pair, etc.)These lights really fit the bill -- they give out just enough light in our kitchen to allow us to root around for flashlights, batteries, candles, matches, etc. I also put one in a dark corner of our garage where I can never see my tools, and I imagine they would work well in closets, storage areas, etc. For the price, they're well made and extremely handy. One note -- some other reviewers here have noted that their lights didn't work out of the box. There is a little plastic tab (more like a piece of tape) protruding from the bottom of the light that is marked something like 'remove before using.' The tab has to be removed before the light will work; the tab appears to be a mechanism for preventing the lights from getting turned on during shipping and handling, but it's not obvious when you open the case that you have to remove the little tab.
