Ok light but not full spectrum or strong will be ok only if temporary light or used in combination with full spectrum lights. I wouldn't recommend most lights have remotes to change colors. Won't buy again either.

Ordered and received three. Advertised as 18 watts, and all three are.Described as having a high cri, these lights don't. Not white light but a pink/purple light.Package insert show these light emit predominately red and blue light, which is what it looks like. How well my plants like these lights, I do not know yet.

Nice bright light so far. No noticeable heat close to the bulb. Its white, but supposedly is full spectrum for red/blue/green/yellow. Not a giant light footprint but reasonable. Maybe 1 or 2 3 gallon or 4 1 gallon plants.

We're better than the old grow lights and have better spectrum.

First off I did not read the product discription clearly. I was expecting the light to be full spectrum white light. The light is actually a red/purple color. So if you are planning on using them in an occupied area that maybe a consideration for you. I have set up the lamps in a dedicated room with no direct sun light facing the north side of the building. The cherry tomato plants that have been brought indoors to see if they will thrive and produce throughout the winter are currently growing more vigorously now then when they were on my back porch recieving 8 hrs of direct natural sunlight. They have provided a couple of tomatos already and there are several more growing healthily. There are now several dozen flowers on the two plants that hopefully will be hand polinated and grow. The strawberry plants however appear to be stagnent. They are not dieing but they also are not growing or setting out flowers or runners yet. Nor do the strawberries appear to have gone into winter dormancy. So the lights are good for growing cherry tomatoes indoors but my strawberries may need more time to adjust to their new environment. I have not gotten an electric bill since the lamps were turned on so not sure what the cost of running the lamps for 8 hours a day will be yet.

I bought 4 of these bulbs and put them in those cheap clip-on shop lights with the aluminum reflectors. I grew a huge crop of tomato and peppers seedlings under them at very low cost. This fall, I set the lights up for my orchids and had blooms on a Cattleya that had never bloomed in the ten+ years I'd had it. Keep in mind that these produce really intense light. When the bulbs were brand-new, I wore sunglasses in the room. And, yes, the light IS purple and the neighbors WILL wonder what's going on at your house if you use the bulbs anywhere near a window, but I highly recommend them for producing healthy vegetable seedlings and keeping sun-loving houseplants happy.

I used it once and didn't like the purple light but decided to keep it anyway just in case. I stored it in the box and took it out 6 weeks later to try in a different location. The bulb didn't work at all, even though the lamp worked with other bulbs. I tried it out on different lamps but it didn't work in any of them. Very disappointed, especially since I can't return it now.

Since we moved my plants haven't been too happy. Not enough natural sunlight so I decided to try these bulbs. I'm glad I did plants are looking a lot better and so far electric bills are about the same!
