This is an excellent battery for Garmin GPS (many models use this same battery), but if you plan on opening your GPS, unscrewing the tiny screws that hold the back on and then four more that hold the circuit board inside (you'll need to remove that to unplug the dead battery and plug in the new battery on most Garmin GPS); THIS ONE DOES NOT come with those essential tiny screwdrivers that fit those Garmin screws!This one is $15.95 on Amazon, and there is another one (black one) for only $14.95 that COMES WITH two screw drivers and a plastic pry-tool to help you open the case!I'd suggest you look for the other one. I wish I could provide a link here for you but the URL is way too long.

My existing Li-Ion cell in Garmin DriveSmart 51 was about 5 years old and subjected to the high heat in the SW recently. This replacement battery arrived with some delay (USP issues), but was packed safely and arrived unscathed. Installation went well and is performing as expected in the Garmin.

My original battery in Garmin 51 can only last a very short time, I have to order a new battery and hope it can last longer. To my surprise it lasts much much longer than the original Garmin battery. The price is also much lower than similar product. Highly recommended!
