This bit appears to be made of hardened steel; I've yet to find a Torx fastener it can't loosen, even when slightly off-size.So better to pay a bit more for one bit that does the job and lasts, versus a cheap bit that rounds out/wears out when it encounters a tight fastener.

These bits are a good, snug fit in all the fasteners in my knives. Other bits, from those 40+ piece kits, are a loose fit in most sizes. They do have good handles/ drivers, though.

I bought this bit as a replacement for my single T6 bit that I had stripped. It fits all my T6 screws perfectly. Kinda expensive compared to other sets that cost a couple dollars more, but its worth it to have a bit last than to strip a bit and screw.

I take apart laptops. Alot. I cannot tell you how many of these t6 bits I have lost because I need to use it for two screws and set it aside to go back to the phillips #0. The KR Precision Autoloader (http://www.amazon.com/KR-Tools-12606-Autoloader-Screwdriver/dp/B001NPDJIQ) Is awesome, but the bits that came with it kind of suck. They're coated so they look nice, but I worried about the coating flaking off on delicate system boards. This size bit acts as a replacement for the precision multi bit screwdriver sets as well as the autoloader, and with the autoloader I will hopefully stop losing the darned things...I've now got the precision screwdriver loaded up with T6, T8, and Phillips #000, #00, #0, #1 Perfect for laptop repair.I just wish wiha made a 5 sided Torx and a triwing in this form factor and my day would be made once again!
