As I was learning these were great. As I’ve gotten better, and am going faster, when I take a spill, inadvertently the front straps will come loose. They don’t ratchet so getting them as tight as you’d like is difficult. The adjustment for the front straps is so small it’s impossible to adjust without taking your gloves off.

I bought a set of these binding for my board several years ago and have been out on the mountain about 4 weeks since. They are holding up well so far and are easy to use. This set I bought for my daughter’s new snowboard. Install was easy and appears to be the same quality as the ones I bought several years ago. She hasn’t been boarding on these yet, but the boots fit great and they look awesome on her board.

I bought this from my wife she is 105 lb 5'2 and she has no complaints, they pretty much snap in as is and compared to my friends who has the name brand it's almost identical.

I can't wait to take these babies out on the slopes! My first set of "regular" bindings were a nightmare for me personally as I'm old and not in the best shape and can barely reach the bindings to do them up! The System Lux bindings are amazing - they fit so well and are so secure and they certainly DO fit boots size 6 to 9! My boots are an eight and I could easily make them fit a nine so if someone is writing a review that they don't fit then it's because they're not adjusting it right! Probably because their heel isn't back far enough? anyway.... now I might get enough response to my board to actually learn how to do it well! I try everything before I hit the slopes and these are super easy in/out! And not bad pricing either, wish I had gone with these in the first place!

2 year update - My daughter has been using these for 2 years now and still loves them. She snowboards every weekend in the winter, so they've seen a lot of use. They have held up very well and she is always the first one ready to go!=====================I bought these due to price and ease of strapping in. My daughter has an older Burton board with the older 3D mounts. The mounting discs that came with the bindings didn't work, but we were able to re-use the mounting discs from her broken older Burton Stiletto bindings and they worked great. It's important to adjust the toe strap properly the first time. If the boot is too far back in the binding, it will be difficult to open and close. I think this is why some people had issues with the binding popping open or being difficult to close. Once adjusted properly, it took my daughter a few runs to get used to getting in and out while standing, but now she loves them. They have held up well after 6 days of snowboarding.

I have used these bindings at the mountain 4 times this season, and so far they have worked great! I have never used step-in bindings before, so at first they were a bit difficult for me to manage, but this could be true of all step-in bindings. You can't necessarily sit and put your foot into them (which I suppose defeats the purpose) you have to put your foot in the bindings while standing or in a "crabwalk" position or your boots will not be able to insert correctly. I got the hand of this fairly quickly, but the first few times were difficult and it was a bit frustrating. Now it is a breeze and I can strap-in off the lift incredibly fast! My advice for these bindings would be to adjust the straps before you go snowboarding, as it can be difficult to unbuckle them for adjustments when your hands are cold on the mountain. My only complaint is I noticed after the first time I went boarding my boots (which are maroon colored) left purple stains on the bindings, but it could just be stained due to the white color of the bindings. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

I'm an older snowboarder and have only used traditional 2 strap rachet bindings since I started snowboarding back in the 90s. The 2 strap system wasn't a problem back in my 20s but takes too much energy and easily fatigues me with all the bending down to strap in, now that I'm in my 40s. I needed a better binding system but wasn't sure if rear entry was any good vs traditional. At first I looked at Flow bindings but didn't want to pay the hefty price tag just to try and then I found these!!! Boy was I impressed when I first locked my lead foot in, I wasn't huffing and puffing bent over racheting 4 straps and taking breaks between straps to catch my breath so I wouldn't pass out. These bindings made it so much easier and saved me so much energy that I was able to last longer on the slopes. Super easy to get in and out without much effort. And response time from heel to toe was the same as my traditional 2 strap. I would recommend these for people who have been thinking about rear entry bindings, these are legit!!
