I RETURNED SOME BULBS THAT DID NOT FIT BECAUSE THE BASE WAS TOO THICK. THE MANUFACTURER WAS GREAT AND RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY WITH A LINK TO THESE BULBS WHICH HAVE A THINNER BASE. THEY WORKED AND LIGHT UP BRIGHTER THAN THE OEM BULBS. THE PRICE IS A FRACTION OF THE COST OF AUTO PART STORES AND THEY SHOULD LAST LONGER.

The globe is milky color but the brightness is perfect for instruments. Many 194 LED bulbs are far too bright for instruments - the bright ones are intended for exterior use ,not for dashboard instruments

They did fit the socket and were brighter than the standard 194 bulb. Well found out that they are longer and could not get the lenses back on light fixtures. Make sure you verify that they match the original size .

I've only given them 4 stars for brightness since they're not quite as bright as the 7 watt bulbs I was using in light fixtures on my deck railing but by using the cool white bulbs instead of the warm white ones I have illumination that I'm satisfied with.
