This worked really well, until it didn’t. The first bulb last 5 months. It was extremely difficult to get the old bulb out and the new one in. Once I finally got it replaced, the bulb only lasted a couple weeks. Trying to put another new bulb in, I cannot get it to turn 90° into place. The light bulbs are not defective but the fixture is.

Not very durable. Definitely not very easy to set it up. You need to twist the light bulb clockwise in the fixture to make it work, I tried and my kids tried. Besides the fact that the fixture came apart when I pulled the plug out, it was not easy to turn the light bulb in the fixture as they stated. But it’s a nice light weight fixture and lights up well. Had to change my original review because the first one stopped working after 2 weeks, the replacement didn’t even work.

This light by Giangarden has been working well so far. I've only had it for a couple of days, but it seems to be putting out a very nice stream of UVB light. I'm so impressed that I wrote the company a question on their website. I have shopped everywhere for a replacement bulb for the inevitable moment when this UVB bulb will run its lifespan and dies. I could not find a replacement anywhere on Amazon or its competitors. I also searched the company's website but didn't see replacement bulbs for sale. So I sent them a question via their customer service. I haven't heard anything back from them.

The light works great and is very bright. My snake loves it. However, the lights holder is a little flimsy feeling and it could be a problem if your rough with it. But other than that it is really good.
