I was starting to get some burnout on my Craftsman table saw when ripping some fencing material. Also, after building a sled, I noticed a slight difference in the gap between the blade and the blade cutout slot (when cross cutting some shelving material). Did some searching and figured after of 15 years of having this saw and comments about checking alignment I figured I would order this gauge and check. Did the job, blade was 70/1000 off. Got it close to +- 1/1000 from front and rear marking the same tooth to measure from ...and it cuts very nice now. Sharp blade + aligned blade = smooth cuts.

Seems well made but it comes with no instructions in the box. I've never used a gauge before to check my equipment so the lack of instructions makes it a bit harder to make sure I'm using everything right.

Seems like a good item. The case it came with is very good, but not good enough, it only holds the gauge, not the parts. The parts are loose and does not fit in the case which you can easily lose. I would have gave it a higher rating if the case held everthing.

So I picked this up and yes..I was being cheap but I wanted to make sure mu table saw was in line and something felt off..so I have the ridged version of the delta t2 and after setting up dial which was easy..for those have issues just pull back dial arm and put on front of saw blade but not on a tooth and hit the zero button...slide to back of blade and will tell you how off you are either plus or minus... mine luckily was out almost 2mm to the back and not toward the fence..after loosening and adjusting I have within 1thou and then adjusted the incra fence now everything clean and accurate. Does come with plastic case for dial..I just threw away...oh you will need micro screwdriver to remove the backplate and replace with the plate that attaches to the jig. We'll built and worth having around shop.Dave

Worked well setting up my job-site table saw. All cuts have been dead nuts since setting up the fence using this tool.

I got this in conjunction with purchase of a new Bosch table saw. This made calibrating the saw blade, fence, and safety rail easy and incredibly accurate. Most people don’t know to calibrate the blade or dado every time you change them. Or to check the blade after several long days of usage. This is a handy kit in a much needed case. I keep it handy and use it on my bandsaw and a couple times on the drill press. Where I have a fence that I want to be set with accuracy. Great valve. Good quality. I am expecting many years of service and gave no doubt that I will.

This unit does not fit correctly in the table saw miter channel and therefor it does not give a stable blade alignment.

I bought the gauge because I wanted an easy and accurate way to check the blade alignment on my table saw. The product worked very well, easy to setup and use. If you are going to do the same make sure that you back off the blade angle adjustment wheel so to relieve any stress on the mechanism, this did make about a 4 to 5 thousands difference in the measurement. When I had the blade angle wheel tight the difference between the front of the blade and the rear was about 10 thousands and when I loosened it up a touch it brought it down to about 5 to 6 thousands difference and the blade was still at 90 degrees, when it's all the way tight it's a tenth or two over 90 and there is stress on the mechanism. Be aware of that and also make sure you put a new clean blade on and make sure the arbor is clean and free of debris when installing the blade, also try to measure as close to the center line of the blade as you can.
