The base is quite heavy, but even so it's still a bit tippy. I sat some heavy stuff on the base and it tips less, but is harder to move. The joints are quite stiff, and probably need some adjusting out of the box. It over all does what I wanted. Now I can watch things more comfortably in bed.

Just what I needed to hold my Tablet and phone! Better quality than I was expecting being mostly of metal construction and toting a solid base plate to balance holding my Tablets and phone. Easy to put together and convenient to move around the house effortlessly. The holder itself is of sturdy plastic construction but being plastic I’m just mindful of that fact so I handle it cautiously to avoid wear and tear. I love this stand holder works great! Hope you’ll find it to your liking too.

I purchased this table holder and stand for my church. It can hold a Lenovo P-11 Pro 12-inch tablet without any issue, but the base is not stable enough. I had to place some heavy objects, like books or bricks, on top of the metal base to keep it stable, as it is too light for the tablet. Without this additional weight, the holder might lose balance, leading to potential accidents.If you use some weight to stabilize it, the holder works well. However, I do not recommend it for frequent movement. It is best used in a fixed position, such as a piano tablet note holder or in your home office.

This is so great! I use it every night. I have it beside of my bed and now I can watching videos without dropping my phone on my face or hurting my hands by having to hold my phone. The base is sturdy but I have found if you twist the arm too much, the pole can come unscrewed a bit. Just something to check if you feel the pole is wobbly and an easy fix as you just have to retighten the pole. I also like that this isn’t a tripod because I found the tripods to be trip hazards and I couldn’t get the stand as close to the bed or sofa as I wanted to. With the base on this one I can easily slide it under my bed or sofa and have my phone positioned perfectly! So great my boyfriend bought one for himself and I also gave one to my Dad for his birthday!

2025 Edited to add, I've had this about 18 months. It worked very well, however last week the spring loaded holder broke off. I contacted the seller, who sent me new upgraded holder! This new model is much more heavy duty than the older one from 2023. I highly recommend this tablet floor stand!2023: I crochet. A lot! I also read my Kindle Paperwhite. A lot! Before this, I would prop the Kindle on my lap, and have to constantly move it when I flip my crochet project. I looked for a while before I purchased this stand, and although there are a few things I would change, overall it works great for me. It holds my Kindle with a case without issue, and the spring grip is very sturdy. It moves and locks into place so I have it at a comfortable position to simply look up and read. The stability is ok, as long as the extension is right in front of the floor stand, but if it is off the center, it will topple. The screw in base works well to swivel, but is not tight. Each joint does have a thumbscrew to tighten the joint, each works well. I can't really say how it might be improved, but I think putting a weight on the base would help with the stability when your book is not perfectly in front of the base. I would purchase this again if I needed another one.
