I like this item but my cat just don't like to wear much of anything. It came with 2 patches and a leash. easy to put on and remove.

This includes everything you would need for first time buy. Leash, mount, velcro patches. We have medium size indoor cat and we do not want her stolen so we only take her out when we are out. Having this is a great way to have full control. At first she freaked out. But now she knows why we bring it to her and she happily volunteers like a dog. It's amazing. Easy fitting and very cool/cute for her. Very fun and functional.

My cat loves to go outside, but will chase birds and squirrels and sadly go after dogs. He is harness trained and when I got this in the mail, he was all for it! He is a 12 pound cat for reference. The patches on the side are funny! The lease that came with it was well made and thicker! Finally!

Phew! That was a whole lot of drama. It took about a week to even get it close enough to clip it onto the cat, she just wasn't having it. Eventualy, after she got to sleep with the thing and learn it wouldn't immediately terminate her life to touch it, she let me put it on her. This was a crippling experience, she suddently couldn't walk, the pressure of the back panel on her back kept her back end almost dragging on the floor, and her front legs only worked one at a time. She's a bit of a drama queen to start with, this harness really upped her acting skills though, she's earned her nomination to the oscar's, move over DiCaprio. Unfortunately, before the academy could meet to decide, she was able to squirm out of it and snuffed her acting carreer short. It'll take a bunch more practicing, and a bunch more adjustments before she can get this right. I'm sure i could tighten it at the neck, but pretty uncomfortable to tighten any more around the chest. I was hoping we could take her on road trips with this, but her new squirm move is so slick that now i'm growing doubts.

Not much room for adjustment. Grabbed it to put on our tiny Yorkie dog. It's a little big on him so we put on a little dog shirt underneath to take up the slack in it. It's a little baggy on him without it, but it's still made ok and works fine. People get a kick out of seeing him in a tactical dog harness. It works good with a leash and the grab handle on it is great to scoop him up quickly if need be. Made it of decent nylon and it's stitched pretty well also. Reflective stitching is a nice touch. Patch panels are a nice feature also. Also the leash is made well also. Clip is very good on the leash itself and it's made quite well of good nylon with reflecting stitching.

Overall the harness is functional which is the main purpose. There are a few things I think could be improved upon however. The ends of the straps are finished so they don’t unravel but they aren’t folded over. This makes it infinitely easier for them to come loose from the buckles. Usually the ends would be folded over and sewn so they’re thicker and won’t come out so easily. And then there’s this little pocket on the top. Best guess is it’s there for storing extra patches because it’s too small for a roll of poo bags. The design would have been a lot more helpful with a slightly larger pocket. And finally a D ring on the chest piece would have been nice.
