I did modify it to work with a lever gun i have but the material for the price is good and it has enough padding to protect the rifle

I really wasn’t expecting too much after reading some of the reviews ( most of the reviews I read after placing my order) but when I received mine I was well pleased. Had plenty of padding, the mole webbing was well sown and the overall materials were above satisfactory. All and all it’s a nice little scabbard that fit my AR15(16in barrel) just fine. The buckle that adjust the length of the case that some reviewers said they had to let hang when used full length wasn’t an issue with mine. I just took all the slack out of the buckle and it latches in the same spot as it does when the case is used at its shortest length. Only flaw that I had was that I would have to agree with the other reviewers about the flimsy carry handle. It’s not much, that’s for sure, but the shoulder strap was fairly sturdy and I wouldn’t be afraid to carry a rifle with it. So if you are looking for a decent scabbard to protect your rifle, when you are taking it to and from and doesn’t break the bank then this is it. You will be satisfied.

Very nice made, great value for the money paid. Holds the mossberg shockwave with Picatinny rail flashlight laser combo on top plus ammo carrier saddle on the left side. Very wide and deep, adjustable if you want the bird head handle sticking out a little bit too.

I bought this to put a Hi Point 9mm in if I was headed to the range or the desert. The gun fit as I'd hoped. However, the bag is lightly padded, the shoulder strap is just a strap and the materials are rather thin. Will it protect the gun from scratches and dings? To a point yes but it's more of a BB gun kind of quality. I have purchased a similar item of much higher quality at a local gun shop for $27. I figured I'd give this a try. I'm not sending it back but I would not buy another. It's a get what you paid for kind of item.
