Its outer shell is crafted with the same water- and snow-repellent fabric as our Wallowa Camp Hats, but combines the Wallowa’s lightweight versatility with a synthetic fleece liner for serious winter warmth. If it’s too warm, just flip the insulated earflaps up for ventilation! An easily adjustable spring cord allows for a snug, custom fit and the Tahoma’s compact brim keeps flurries out of your eyes without obstructing killer views. A spring cord system allows for quick, easy adjustments to fit a wide range of head sizes, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit.
Hat Sizing
To find your hat size, measure around your head about 1/8 inch above your ears and across your mid-forehead, as shown. Use a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string (if using string, mark the two points where it overlaps and measure the length between those points with a ruler). Keep the measuring tool level and snug, but not tight.
Don't worry about being too precise - all our hats feature an adjustable nylon webbing with snap closure for a perfect fit.

Seems like a very well made hat. Unbearably small though - probably only 3/4 the adjustability/size range of their normal camp hats.

The Tahoma hat is great. Perfect for those cold winter mornings and outdoor activities. The blue color is rad! Definitely a unique color and the ear flaps stay up with no need for side buttons, which keeps it light and soft all the way around! It also has a bungy in the back to tighten it down in windy conditions. Overall, a great warm hat.

Tillak has done it again with this new low profile winter hat. This hat is very cozy, warm and has a super sleek design that makes it perfect for many outdoor winter activities. I will definitely be using it for winter fishing, snowshoeing, hiking, etc. Can't say enough about this hat and the rest of the hats from Tillak. These guys have always created solid products and they did it again with this 'Tahoma' winter hat. Thanks Tillak!

Ultimate winter hat!I absolutely love this hat!It's very comfortable, it's adjustable in the back and it will keep your head and ears warm.So nice to have the ear flap option up or down.Great Christmas gift for outdoorsy men and women!

The tillak tahoma hat is perfect for winter. It keeps my head and ears nice and warm and if it gets too warm, I can flip up the lower portion! The other part I like about this hat is that I can tighten it down if I feel it’s too loose on my head. This is nice because when I go out and want a snug fit, I can get that snug fit for my head or loosen it if it feels like it’s too tight. Last, I have to say the color is great (fur green) and it matches with a lot of my clothes. Overall, it’s a great buy and I highly recommend this hat!

This is a pretty good-looking hat and just the right thing for chilly winter walks. There is an adjustment cord in back of the hat. The had shipped with the cord all the way out, but even with the adjustment as loose as it could be, it was a tight squeeze around my head. I never thought of my head as particularly large. If you have a smaller head, the good news is that you can adjust the hat down. If your head circumference is larger than 23”, this hat might not fit you. After walking for a while I found my head got a little hot. Although the ear flaps don’t look as if their designed to be folded up, when I did raise them up to cool my ears, I was glad to discover the flaps stayed above my ears. I like the hat, and I was glad that after wearing it for a while, it did seem to loosen enough to be comfortable.

Tillak hats are my favorite hats. The lighter-weight Wallowa Camp and Kodra hats are my daily drivers. I've had them for a few years, and they're still in great shape. So now I'm stoked to have an insulated winter version of that Kodra cap. What I like about the Tahoma is that the flap keeps my ears warm and covers the back of my neck. The drawstring isn't really necessary as the cap fits snugly, but I might have a different opinion if I didn't have such a large head.
