This was smaller than I expected, which was fine as it now fit on the switch plate for my new electric radiator fan in my 1988 Ford E-250 camper van. I tied it in to the hot lead of the fan and other wire to GND, so I could tell when the Fan is running. It didn't need to be any larger as its nice and bright. All's I wanted was to know if the fan was running or not and this worked well. It is only about 5/8" diameter and requires a 1/2" hole. There is barely a lip to cover the hole, so don't drill oversized hole.

These are very simple little lights that enhance your electrical system build. They are perfect for creating a factory-finish look on a vehicle that didn't come from the factory with turn signals, like mine. There is a red wire, and a black wire. You can hook these up to your system as long as you understand that red is power and black is ground. You'll probably need to locate and drill holes to install these, IMO this is the hardest part of the job. Pro tip: be very, very sure of the signal layout before you drill anything. It makes a big difference. From there, simply install the nifty little signal indicators. They work really well!

I like the looks and brightness. I don't like the really small gauge wires. Could be dangerous for 12 volt automotive applications.
