Works exactly how you expect it to. My dog is able to perform commands that he can hear so it was really easy to teach him how to use these. It's really eye-opening when he uses the same command to give you a sense of urgency. It's also a really good time to spend some quality time with your dog.

received my order this morning. The puzzle mat was not included and one of the buttons does not work. the only options are to return package. I don't want to return, I am using what I received. Just would like items missing and not working replaced.

I recently started using the Pawsome Avenue Talking Buttons for Dogs, and overall, it's been a worthwhile addition to our training routine. I got this to try and teach my dog to ask to go to the potty but he mostly just plays with them. There are some videos to watch but it definitely requires effort and a certain type of dog personality.

These fun little buttons will definitely take some time for our dogs to get used to. These buttons do not come with any kind of instructions other than how to record your voice, so YouTube will be your best friend on understanding how to use these for training. I’ve been watching videos on how the best ways to train them will be, and we have started, and they are slowly, but surely getting the hang of them. They came with batteries in them, you just have to take them out and turn them around. Stickers are a wide variety of different things you would want to teach your dog, we decided on five and we’re undecided on the last one that’s why the yellow one does not have a sticker. The instructions are very clear on how to record your voice and you can continue to record exactly what you want until you’re happy with it. Treats are definitely the key in this game, keeping them engaged, long enough to start to understand what the buttons mean and how to interact with the buttons. This is not something you’re going to be able to do and complete within a week, at least not for our dogs. The buttons do appear to be pretty sturdy and are holding up to our training, I think this is really great idea and once our dogs get the hang of it, we would hopefully get more buttons to train them on more words they understand. I would definitely recommend this, It’s not overly expensive and it’s some thing fun to do for your dogs to keep them entertained.

I was anxiously looking forward to trying out this game with my dogs. I have three dalmatians and they all three are very smart and very quick. They also have big vocabularies so I thought it would really be fun to see what they would do with this. As my husband was opening the package, she said the box says that it has a mat for the floor to put the buttons in but that seems to be missing. Then he began to say that the batteries weren’t working. So he cleaned the batteries off of the plasticky glue that was on top. But they were still 100% dead. The price point for this product is pretty high and we haven’t even gotten to try the button part out yet because we’re going to have to go out and purchase AAA batteries. I gave it to stars for the concept and because I haven’t tried the buttons out yet, and will update how the dogs responded when we can finally get it to work. My advice is to pick a similar set that has all the pieces.

Easy to use, bright colors. Came with batteries with stickers on the ends to keep them from connecting and losing juice. Now just to work w my pup to learn to use them!

We are just now beginning the training process to teach our dog to communicate with us via these Pawsome Avenue Talking Buttons For Dogs. They are easy to program and set up, but our initial attempt to teach our dog to use them was without much progress. We will need to go online and learn a little more about what are the successful ways to teach our dog to use these communication buttons. Hopefully we will make additional progress but I have a feeling it will take a lot of time for our pooch to get proficient with these. The product itself seems to be right on.
