Your cart is empty.The HH915D features the same long footboard as our Speed Cobra Bass Drum Pedal. Its core design is based on the Iron Cobra Hi-Hat Stand, widely recognized as one of the best performing hi-hat stands in the world. The longer footboard offers footwork flexibility, added control and sensitivity. The latest innovation on this stand, the new Quick-Set Clutch, allows hi-hat cymbals to be quickly attached and removed. The Hinge Guard Block on the footboard holds the bearing more evenly, minimizing stress and maximizing smoothness. The idea of replacing the traditional pull mechanism with a lever design was a genuinely revolutionary concept. Our Iron Cobra version uses roller bearings at the lever fulcrum for even smoother footboard action while a super-strong Kevlar strap connects the footboard and pull rod for even, noise-free action. Quick-Set Clutch With just one touch, the Quick-Set Clutch can be attached or removed - simply push the button on the side of the clutch. The clutch also allows the top hi-hat cymbal to float more freely, maximizing the natural resonance of the cymbals. Matching Footboard w/Hinge Guard Block The construction of the Bearing Hinge on the footplate has changed from a one-piece assembly to two pieces. This design holds the bearing more evenly minimizing stress and maximizing smoothness, while also adding to the pedal's sense of power. Shorter Cymbal Rod Included Speed Cobra hi-hat stands now come with both long and short cymbal rods, allowing drummers a choice based on their unique setup needs.

Easy to set up. Setting the hihat to lean in towards you is nice and the hihat top cymbal holder allows the hats to swing more and folds up good and compact. Pitbull Electronics has great service and speedy delivery.

Very high quality. It’s a little harder to fit in a tight spot than the dw9000 pedal because of the design of the legs, otherwise I’d give it a 5

The Kevlar strap has broken twice on my pedal since I've bought it. Tama has horrible customer service and I cannot find any place that sells the Kevlar strap separate. I've had to sideline this hi-hat and go back to my pearl until I can figure out a solution.

I agree with the other reviewers, but I'll add a bit more detail.I had the last generation Iron Cobra hi-end stand and it is outstanding.I moved away from the IC bass pedal when the longboard SC came out a few years back and wanted to add an SC HH pedal.I have a big foot and this pedal just works better. Also, it is TONS smoother than my last gen high end IC pedal.This rig helps the player more easily extract dynamics from the hi-hat. The new clutch is simply outstanding.There was a lot of thought put into this new design (same design improvements also went into the IC pedal).This is a must have for players with bigger feet who are looking for more dynamics out of their hi hat rig.
