Iron Cobra pedals have long been popular- just jumped on the band wagon now. Overall aluminum (?) stand, long pedal, spring design looks ok. Think QC was reduced by the white plastic washer held in by the upper spring loop and black plastic wheel screw/plastic spring insert block at bottom.No comparison to the all-metal parts and construction of DW 2000/5000 pedals. Can feel differences between this Cobra vs DW. Got the Cobra to cut costs, though felt it was pricey for the build quality. Works fine with a Real Feel vertical pad. Wondering how it will stand up to blast beats during gigs. Time will tell.

Got it as a gift for an 8 year old boy for his e-drum kit. Absolutely loved it! I use the same pedal in the double kick format. Wouldn’t recommend it more.

The cobra comes setup no adjustments needed. Although you have options that are simple to use. This is worth it because you can have 2 bass drums and with an adapter you can only hit one drum pedal.

Quality product l and got shipped way sooner than anticipated. The pedal is pretty stellar. It took me like 4 days to decide on this over the 910. I've played my buddy's 910 speed cobra double pedal a lot and wanted to have something to practice with at home. I cant tell a huge difference other than the beater weight. If you really need the cobra coil, it is sold separately via amazon but honestly it doesnt seem necessary.Also there is no hard shell case, it comes in a Tama box and friggin rocks.

Took a chance that I'd like this pedal based on the glowing reviews here and on other sites. It's a solid bass drum pedal but responsiveness is a bit iffy for me. I'm in the process of trying different beaters with it to find that sweet spot between speed and power/oomph. So far I'd say that if anything, it's too light and too easy to use. The next beater I try will be a standard DW two-sided beater because I feel like there needs to be some weight and resistance in the throw. All in all, I wish I'd gotten the Iron Cobra 900. Maybe long boards aren't my thing...

Sehr leichtgängig, durchs lange Brett total genau und super einzustellen. Nach 10 Minuten und en bissl rum geschraube schon ans neue Pedal gewöhnt. Hab vorher DB gespielt ..aber man wird ja auch älter. Ansonsten halt die gewohnte TAMA Qualität. Nix wackelt ...ist solide verarbeitet. Achso und en Stimmschlüssel ist dabei. Hatte meinen grad mal wieder verloren.Preis/Leistung kaum zu toppen.Kann bis jetzt nichts negatives darüber sagen darum 5 Sterne.Das Paket kam auch früher als erwartet.MfG Jojo

Love the pedal, don’t have experience with regular pedals but the long board feels fast. I may have to play with the settings but mostly I’ve played with how the settings were from the factory. Great value!

The pedal is well built, looks good, came on time and was ready to use out of the box. I find that the performance however is not any better than the Pearl pedal that came with my set. Looks different but feels the same. I had higher expectations on performance and am a little disappointed. Perhaps I need to give it more time!
