I prefer ball adjustments on snare stands, one screw to loosen and complete adjustment in any plane available whilst playing. Got this to replace an old Mapex stand that was starting to fall apart. The Tama is a lot lighter than the Mapex (which was stupidly heavy). One star off as the stand doesn’t seem quite as stable as I am used to but I probably just need to spend a bit more time optimising the legs versus basket position

Stable as a rock. Heavy. Double braced. The ONLY snare stand Ill ever use. Tama all the way. The omniball is also outstanding allowing me to place the snare tilt exactly where I want it. Tama, you knocked it out of the park. Again.
