I read in a cat-oriented newsletter that it was MUCH better for cats to eat from a bowl that was raised up higher so that the cat does not have to bend over to eat or drink.This helps older cats and also cats with stomach issues as the position tends to prevent vomiting. Cats of any age do better when they don't have to bend over to eat or drink.I already was feeding Jake out of raised bowls, but when I accidentally broke one, I ordered this set for the other feeding area in the house as well as a single one to replace the one I broke.There is no question the cat prefers the raised bowl Jake is around 7. So I asked him if it was age related. He was non-comittal.

Very cute design and lovely colors.I did not realize that only one bowl had a tilted angle. I suppose this meant for a single cat, one bowl for feeding and the other bowl for water. My intention was to have two feeding bowls for my two cats. Well, my two cats don't seem to mind if they are tilted or not, so it works anyway.

I like the height, slope and sturdiness of these bowls. Perfect for cat’s food and better for their eating. It has a nice slope to the bowl so that the cat’s whiskers do not easily get fatigued. The bowls are nice and sturdy, they won’t get pushed around. And big plus: no plastic!

First things first: The one with the angle is the 'food' bowl while the one without the angel is meant for water. Honestly, I could see switching the bowls depending on what is going into each on any particular day.Now to the simple review: The bowls are kitty-cat cute, however I doubt they will hold up well in daily use. The ceramic shells are very thin in comparison with a number of other offerings on Amazon. How thin? Thin enough to arrive with a couple small nicks on the lip of one bowl. And thin enough to warrant caution when washing them with other dishes and bowls. Thin enough not to advise purchasing them? Nope. Why? Because they are otherwise just too darn cute!

No miss prints at all and a beautiful design. My cat loves it and I don't have to use weird random objects anymore to left his old bowl. Items were packaged with great care and I'm so so happy with this long overdue purchase. Buy it! It's worth it I promise♡

Super cute bowls! Very sturdy ceramic dishes, and super easy to clean. I put them out as soon as I got them with dry food in one and wet food in the other and my cat took to it immediately. I love how they are a similar height to the water fountain, which is great compared to other products I was contemplating. I took a chance buying these since no one else had reviewed this product yet, and super glad I did! 🙌
