Compared to standard tweezers, the operation mechanism for these tweezers is reversed: squeeze the handle to open and release to close. As such, these tweezers can be easily wielded while they are holding objects, thereby greatly reducing hand fatigue. The straight tip makes for simple operation. Tweezers are made from stainless steel and feature vulcanized fiber grips.

I love these tweezers. I got these after my experience with the ones with a bend in them. I was always under the impression that things like these were usually all the same and couldn't see my way to flipping the extra cash. I figured it was just the name you are paying the premium for but I was definitely wrong with these. They seem to grab objects heavy or light with the perfect pressure and little effort while maintaining its grip and if working with styrene models it doesn't mar the plastic.

I found these tweezers to be of superior quality and quite easy to use. It may take a day or two to initially get used to them, but once you do, they are easy to use and really help with hand fatigue, that you might get using normal straight tweezers.A highly recommended product from Tamiya.

I love detail in my model building. These tweezers default holding the item, as opposed to other tweezers where I have to apply pressure to hold the item (default being dropping the item); this was perfect for me. I tend to relax holding the part with tweezers and always drop the part. With these tweezers, I don't have to worry about dropping the part. The tweezers hold the part until I position the part and then apply pressure to release the part.
