Heavier than the sony A6100, because it’s a compact APSC camera and this lens is a super zoom that is definitely nice to have enabling great versatility with a crop sensor.

Overall not bad lens but I got some focus issues, mostly probably related to lens being renewed, saving 10 percent compared to new does not look as good as I thought. Thinking about returning lens to get a new one

This lens is amazing, as long as you don’t expect too much. The 18-300 zoom, being such a large range to cover, give somewhat soft results at the 18 and 300 range. The sweet spot is around the 100-250mm range. Note that you can stop down to f7.1 and get somewhat sharper results. In my opinion it’s a 5 star, because I know what I was jumping into, but for someone who expects the same sharpness as a 70-350g lens, you will be disappointed.
