Hard to find in box stores. I hand-forge knives and I will use these for handle attachment and leather work.

These work great on my knives handles replacementI always had to throw away the knives when my wood handle rotted away now I make a new handle and use the product to reinforce it.Works great

One of the things I noticed on other reviews was no one listed the size of the flat round section on the rivet and the burr. So here are the dimensionsThe round end attached to the rivet is 7/16 of an inch or just a bit under 1/2 inch in diameter. The burr (washer looking thing) is only a hair smaller. the overall length of the piece is 1 inch. These dimensions only apply to the #9 rivets. I have not used any others. I Have used these rivets numerous times and they work great. Hope this helps.

These are a very hard to find items in hardware stores and i am glad i have found them here. I have used approximately a dozen of these so far with no problem. Very sturdy built and can take a lot of use.
