- The pictured instrument cluster shows the blue gauge needles with our white LED upgrade. Your instrument cluster will not look like this unless you have white LED's installed.
- Expect these blue needles to be slightly dim at night with OEM lighting.
Cost-Effective Solution
While many instrument clusters and climate control units still have plenty of life to them, the components inside cannot continue functioning. Dealerships and auto repair facilities will usually tell you the only solution is to pay for an entirely new unit, but you can avoid these expensive costs and install our DIY repair components yourself.

We encourage customers to perform their own repair work if enjoyable to them! We offer DIY repair components so customers won't need to ship their instrument clusters and climate controls out for repair and can avoid expensive repair and replacement costs.

Many of our DIY components are unique to the TAE brand. They will be branded with our logo and come sealed in anti-static bags.

When installing the needles it is not smooth to remove and and to put on. It feels like it is going to break the rotor motor of my cluster. The factory needles are more smoother to remove. When putting on these needles you basically had to push hard with your finger to go into place. I wished it was more smoother to install. The needles look good but scary to install.

These go great with the red leds in my cluster panel. Probably not a good fit for 2010 GMC Sierra sle 2500HD. Insturment panel has red leds underneath needles, not replaceable bulbs.

Bought these for my 2001 chevy 1500hd and the needles dont even fit on the gauge. Will only allow it to go down about 2 cm, making them look as though they float. Thoroughly disappointed with the amount of money i spent. If we're buying plastic pieces at this price they better be perfect. Far from it!

The needles look good in the day but at night they are almost non transparent they are hard to see and I have upgraded to leds on my cluster as well

Great product, if you don't have led backlight they don't show up blue, they look grey. I like the grey look and am extremely satisfied! Will buy again!

I like the blue during the color in daylight. Now I wish the needles blue color would glow more as the original orange ones did. It could be cause they are not blue all the way through. I decided to go with blue leds behind them thinking that would help them glow more but did not. The blue leds let blue come through the background and cause the needles not to glow much causes the needles almost get lost in the background. More the long needles. The short needles look like they glow more. So i may go back to white leds or lights. I may change the longer needles back to original orange and see how the mix looks. The picture I posted looks really good. The phone camera seemed to light it up so its a little decieving.
