This project started when I saw a 4 channel amp at a thrift store for cheap. However one of the channels did not work so in to the trash with that. I had already purchased 4 4” speakers so decided to look for a 3 channel amp.The sub channel runs 2 15” speakers I bought when I was kid 53 years ago. They still sound good. They are wired together at 4 ohms. The box is a bass reflex type with the speakers mounted at an angle.The 4” speakers are in a two chambered sealed box and wired to 2 ohms.This little amp is perfect for this set up. It has a bass boost that I don’t need to use. Plenty of bass.The terminals are small but you don’t need heavy gauge wire for this so it works.There is no level control so you will need a inline level control for your input. I’m running mine about half but it’s in a 2006 Ford Ranger so it doesn’t take a lot to fill it with sound.I have a slight ground hum that can only be heard when nothing is playing. I will add a filter.This amp was perfect for my budget set up!

This thing is perfect for a budget system. I have it running 4 skar door speakers and a cheap blaupunkt 12. The frequency cutoffs are good and power is perfect for my needs. It is tiny, but has more power and better sound than the blaupunkt 1500 it replaced. I had to turn the bass down on my head unit, because I was worried I might blow the sub.

I am running 4 jvc 6x9 with this tiny amp! I have to say i am surprized on the power and clear sound ! Very impressed . Dont let the size fool you! And i still have the sub part not being used. I recomend this amp for mids and highs . I replaced my 4 ch audiopipe 1400 watt amp and would have to say tara amps is my new amp brand

Exelente producto para un sonido sencillo es perfecto para 4 medios , ya sean 6x9" o 6.5" y aparte un subwoofer los levanta sin problema.

Amazing little amp that fits under my seat, powering 4 Pioneer 6.5" 3 way speakers and a 10" Alpine Type S dvc 300 watt subwoofer with no problem. Nice clean sound from the drivers and the sub hits hard. Glad I found about Taramps from Williston Audio Labs on Youtube. Big D Wiz hasn't tested this amp but he tested other models and was impressed with their rated output power. No bs here, just a good little amp for a simple budget system.If I was find a negative it would be the auto on function of the amp if there is no remote power from the reciever, I found it it would shut down the amp on some songs where it thought there was no speaker output. I just ran a trigger wire from my factory deck to resolve this issue. Just a minor issue with a work around.
