I used this amp to replace a Audio Pipe amp. This amp is amazing with both sound quality and power. I use it on my home entertainment Subwoofer. The sub is a Skar EVL 18" dual 2 ohm voice coil. The audio pipe amp sounded very muddy. It hit hard, but sound quality was not there. I hooked up this amp and was amazed at the sound quality. I also think this hits harder then the Audio Pipe amp, yet the Audio Pipe is rated at 300 more watts then the Taramps. Plus the built in fan keeps this amp cool.For the money, there is no doubt this amp will make you very happy!!!
