I changed my kitchen faucet which left three holes since I didn't buy the extra plate for the new kitchen faucet. The plugs were easy to install and worked perfectly for the holes.

These do cover the standard hole size in American sinks but not by much so one person holds it in place while the other tightens it underneath. Be sure to use the rubber ring on top or they will leak. The finish seems to be real stainless steel.

Easy to unstall, came with washer to keep h20 out. I was disappointed in the color. I have a stainless steel sink as most people have. The cover was advertised as SS, but the color looked more whitish gray. I definitely doesn't match or even come cloe to my SS sink. I left it installed until i can physically see the item b4 purchasing again. But quality for price was good. It does the job of covering the hole.

Worked an absolute treat and as you can see from the picture it’s still going strong even after a number of years since I purchased. Easy to fit and in my opinion looks better than the standard blanking plate used by manufacturers.

Until we renovate our kitchen, I have to make everything last in the best condition as long as possible. My previous faucet w separate sprayer created a lot of problems under my sink and with the mdf under the Formica surrounding the sink. I used plumbers putty, silicone caulk, you name it but it was a constant fight. I finally installed a new faucet with pull down sprayer allowing me to eliminate one giant water intrusion problem - the separate sprayer. I ordered these to cover the hole, and I am very pleased.The finish was protected by blue film for shipping and it was easy to remove. This matches the finish of my faucet and my sink nicely, and the gasket can be used on top of the sink deck or underneath as a washer. I opted for a small bead of silicone sealant under the edge of the cover and used the gasket as a washer as I wanted the maximum protection against water intrusion.Others have offered some great tips on installing under challenging circumstances, so here is my contribution. Yes, this hole cover is designed for thin stainless steel sinks, so if you have a different situation, this is not the solution for you. Our sink is original to our house built in the late 70’s early 80’s, so uninstalling the previous fixture took longer than installing the new one and this hole cover, because every fastener required some lubrication to remove. Plus I am short with short arms so reaching up to the bottom of the sink deck and fitting wrenches up there is maddening. Worked and looks great on a stainless steel sink I had installed in my garage. Did not install the faucet thru the sink holes due to the faucet already existing at a higher location. Perfect fit for the 1.25” holes.

Pas facile d'obtenir ce genre d'article, même chez les distributeurs de mon évier de cuisine. Franke existe toujours, mais un tel accessoire, pour un évier inox de plus de 15 ans, je n'ai pas trouvé. Sauf ici, sur Amazon. Mais que ne trouve-t-on pas sur Amazon ? Produit impeccable, vite reçu, s'adapte parfaitement et semble de bien meilleure qualité que le bouchon d'origine, qui était seulement en plastique chromé.

I needed two of these for two different sinks. One fit perfectly as it was a SS sink top, so very thin. The other I needed to go through a wooden counter that is about an inch thick. Because the shaft is very short, it didn't go through the counter enough to screw the collar onto it. I used some silicone to seal it down and it seems to be fine. I'm sure it's only designed for SS sinks and I just didn't read it. Too lazy to go back and check now.
